Architecture is one of those things like requirements that was thrown out of agile but that people are having second thoughts about now. Suggest you look at Leffingwell’s book Agile Software Requirements where he tries to fit back in requirements and architecture into the agile approach for larger systems and in organizations that are undergoing agile transformation.
