My strategy is to respond on sites and then post those responses on my blogs. http://thinknet….ress.com for quora posts and http://think.net for other sites like Namesake.com and others. The problem I have with blogs is that you seem to be speaking into the air, while if you respond on other sites then one is responding to a particular person to a particular question within a context and I find that much easier. Those blogposts then become tweets and thus slowly I begin to accrue followers. My main purpose is to draw attention to my academic research to advanced systems theory which has been languishing unnoticed for years. So there are copius references to my research work such as at http://about.me/…ntdesign and http://archonic.net, etc. Anyway that is my strategy to get some slight notice, but not sure it is working all that well, so any suggestions would be appreciated.
